The state of Missouri is a state that lies in the heart of
the United States. Being in that area it has both southern
and Midwestern influences and is a great place to raise a
family. The state is named after the Missouri Siouan Indian
tribe and it's name means those who dug out canoes. Although
typically flat in nature it does contain some rolling hills
and some larger mountains in part of the state. Their are
a lot of small towns throughout the state that gives the residents
a great community feeling and maintains that small town atmosphere.
The state is also home to many registered sex offenders.
Keeping your child safe from predators starts at home. Make
sure that your child never leaves home without telling you
that they are leaving and where they are going. They should
also call if possible when they get there to let you know
that they are safe.
